Pacific Basin Nuclear Conference 2018: Calling for Abstracts from U.S. Professionals

It is the American Nuclear Society's turn to host this major international conference that only occurs every two years, so don't miss out. The Call for Abstracts is well under way, and currently, Korea and China are outpacing the U.S. in abstract submittals. We strongly urge our U.S. ANS members to contribute to the conference's success-submit an abstract by March 16.

Conference registration opens soon and there are many reasons to attend. The Pacific Basin Nuclear Conference (PBNC 2018) attracts nuclear energy leaders from the Pacific Basin and beyond, including Korea, China, Japan, Canada, the United States, Mexico, and other nations with both mature and nascent nuclear energy programs. Speakers from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have been invited to share about the major nuclear energy programs launching in their countries.

PBNC 2018 provides a unique forum for individuals to network, as well as for companies to showcase their products and services that support nuclear energy programs throughout the world. In addition to the Expo, the conference highlights nuclear energy science, technology, education, and more, via stimulating plenary sessions led by international speakers, an exciting and challenging technical program, and program-enhancing technical tours.
