Engineering scholarship established by L&A at WSU Tri-Cities

L&A announced on February 29 that it will provide $10,000 annually to support the scholarship, which will be geared toward students studying engineering, cybersecurity, business, or other fields related to environmental management and cleanup.

WSU Tri-Cities, located in Richland, was selected for the scholarship because of its role in preparing students for work in the DOE’s nuclear cleanup program, especially at the Hanford Site, which is just north of campus.

L&A also helps fund scholarships at Northern New Mexico College, the University of South Carolina–Aiken, and Tennessee Tech University. In addition, L&A is a supporter of the Roy G. Post Foundation, which provides scholarships for students pursuing careers in the safe management of nuclear materials.
