The American Nuclear Society and the Nuclear Energy Institute have announced a new partnership regarding two of their flagship industry conferences.
ANS’s annual Utility Working Conference and Vendor Technology Expo and NEI’s Nuclear Energy Assembly will merge during the week of September 8, 2025, in Atlanta, Ga. The news was shared during the kickoff of the 2024 NEA meeting, happening this week in Philadelphia, Pa.
The collaboration is expected to draw an even larger and more influential audience for exhibitors and attendees across the industry. The event will offer a similar program of plenaries, working sessions, exhibits, and social events; and it will be held in different locations each year to help attract new attendees.
Quotable: “We’re really looking forward to building something big and sustainable and worthy of the future that we all want,” said ANS Executive Director/CEO Craig Piercy. “It’s going to be an event where people from the C-suite, in lab coats, in hard hats, and from the supply chain have a place to learn, grow, and connect.”
“Together we’re going to create the country’s largest, most comprehensive nuclear industry event. We will expand the offerings of our two organizations to create a single opportunity for every aspect of the commercial nuclear industry with more opportunities to connect, advance your careers, and learn,” said Maria Korsnick, president and chief executive of NEI.
More to come: Stay tuned for more information on registering and sponsorship opportunities, which will be released in the coming months from both ANS and NEI.
